On July 15, 2026, peacefully at Summerset Village, aged 88 years. Dearly loved wife of Theo (deceased), and respected mother and mother-in-law of Janice and Arie, Ester and Colin, Gerrit (deceased), Theo (deceased), Audrey and Mark, Corina and Andre, Miriam and Lindsay, Paula and Mike, and 20 grandchildren, and 19-great grandchildren. Special thanks to all staff and visitors during Mum's time at Summerset Cavendish.

Messages to be addressed to the family of the late Roely, c/- Hope Funerals Christchurch, 27 Amyes Road, Hornby, Christchurch 8042. There will be a private burial beforehand for family members only.

The Funeral Service for Roely will be held at Bishopdale Reformed Church, 90 Highstead Road, on Tuesday, July 21, 2026 at 2.00pm.
