Robert McCABE

On Saturday, July 25, 2026, Rob passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, aged 87 years. Dearly loved husband and best friend of Elsa, much loved father of Keith, John, Craig, and Glenn, loved father-in-law of Liz, and Cheryl, adored Grandad to Codey, Deanna, Joel, Kurt, Regan, Matthew, Kaleb, Jayme, and the late baby Jane, loved Great-Grandad to his great-grandchildren. A loved brother-in-law, uncle, and friend to many who knew him.

Rob's dedication to family, career, sport, and all who knew him is deeply remembered and loved by us all…..RIP Rob

The family would like to sincerely thank the staff at Ward 16, Christchurch Hospital, and the Rangiora Unichem Medical Corner Pharmacy for their care and compassion.
