Passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 13, 2026, surrounded by family, aged 95 years. Husband of June (deceased), father and father-in-law of Berwyn and Kana, Duncan, Alexander (Ameyatma) and Jane, and Vanessa and William. Loved granddad to all his grandchildren. A small gathering for Richard will be held in the John Rhind Chapel, entry from Whitmore and London Streets, Richmond, Christchurch, on Thursday, September 17, at 10.00am with a memorial service to follow in the coming days.
