Peacefully surrounded by his loving family, at South Canterbury Hospice on Friday, September 11, 2026, aged 79 years. Dearly loved husband of Kathy, much loved father and father-in-law of Andrew and Alex, Michael and Janelle, Neil and Rachel and adored Poppa of Ava, Harry, Isaac, Frankie, and Nancy. Our deepest thanks to the staff at the South Canterbury Hospice for their loving care of Richard. In keeping with Richard's wishes a private family service has been held.
