On July 25, 2026, passed away peacefully, in his 88th year. Dearly loved husband of Elaine (née Tulett) for 64 years, much loved father and father-in-law of Lisa and Graham, Jason and Jessica, Tanya and Graham, treasured Grandad Rex of India, Hunter, and Tobias; Raven, Finn, and Zoe. In lieu of flowers, donations to St John Ambulance would be appreciated and may be made directly online at stjohn.org.nz.

A celebration of Rex's life will be held at Westpark, 467 Wairakei Road, Burnside, on August 18, at 2.00pm.
