Peacefully on Sunday, August 30, 2026, at Christchurch Hospital. Aged 72 years. Dearly loved husband of Christine, loved father and father-in-law of Lisa and Gary Johnson, Rachel and Shane Walker, and Jamie. Loved grandfather of all his grandchildren. Loved stepfather of Michelle and Nicola. Loved brother of Helen. Loved son-in-law of John Robinson. Loved uncle and brother-in-law.

A service to celebrate Philip's life will be held in the Canterbury Chapel (crn Linwood Ave and Keighleys Rd), on Thursday September 3, 2026 at 11.00am. Interment thereafter at Memorial Park Cemetery.
