On July 11, 2026, Owen passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family, aged 92. Much loved husband of Olive and amazing loved father of Robyn, Brent, Sharon and Deane, special Grandad to Luke and Mikayla, Joe and Sophie, and Gabe. Great-Gaga to Beau and Alby, and a loved Uncle and friend to many.

A celebration of Owen's life will be announced on Lyttelton Facebook page at a later date.
