Formerly of Alexandra and Timaru. Passed away peacefully on June 29, 2026; aged 103 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Reg Butler, loved sister of the late Ron, the late Mary and Doris, much loved Mum of Jeff and Wendy, and John and Coral. Loved Nana of Kelly, Mark and Tammy, and loved great-nana of Ernie, Maggie, Jake, Ruby and Leo.

A service for Muriel will be held at the Andersons Bay Crematorium Chapel, 192 Tomahawk Road, Dunedin, at 1.30pm on Thursday, July 2, 2026.
