Died peacefully on June 21, 2026, aged 88 years. Loved and respected member of The Missionary Sisters of the Society of Mary. Dearly loved daughter of the late Dorothy and Philip Parsons. Beloved sister and sister-in-law of Colleen and Steve, Derek and Jude, and Trish. A treasured aunt to all her nieces and nephews. A Vigil gathering will be held at St Gregory's Catholic Church 26 Cotswold Avenue on Wednesday, June 24, at 5.30pm. A Requiem Mass for Sister Mary Marietta will be Celebrated at St Mary's Pro-Cathedral, 373 Manchester Street, Christchurch on Thursday, June 25 at 1.30pm.
