Mary HALL

Mary passed away peacefully on June 13, 2026, in the presence of her loving family, at Charles Upham Retirement Village, Special Care Unit, after a lengthy and courageous battle with Alzheimers. Aged 70 years. Treasured Mum and mother-in-law of Angie and Chris, Tara and Tom, and loved Grandma to Mahuenoa (Marz), Declan, Tori, Lila and Sophie. Loved partner and best friend of Jim Cowan and respected friend to Stephen and Lisa, Andrew, Angela and Shane, and 'Nana' to Eli, Cory and Jaden. Dearly loved daughter of the late Millie and Eddie Hall, loved sister and sister-in-law of Kathleen and Brian, Margaret and Bill, Eileen (deceased), Linda (deceased) and Terry, Ken and Jacqui, Stephen and Annemaree, Brenda and Steve, Rob (deceased) and Jan. Dearly loved by her many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the carers and staff at the dementia unit at Charles Upham Retirement Village. A funeral service for Mary will be held at Wai-mana, 92 Kippenberger Avenue, Rangiora, on Thursday, June 18 at 10.30am.
