Peacefully at home in Waimate on Wednesday, September 16, 2026; aged 75. Only son of George and Roma (both dec).

Loved soulmate and husband of Andrea Baikie. Loved father, father-in-law and grandfather of Michael, Jamie and Heather, Jake, Dakota and Geneva. Loved brother, brother-in-law and uncle of Jill, Mark, David and Kali, and Simon and Savannah and families (Morrison). Much loved brother and brother-in-law of Shirley and Neil Bartlett, Josey and Mark Wallace, Debi Chamberlain and Murray Flowers, Mark and Joanne Baikie. A service celebrating Kerry's life will be held at the Waimate A&P Shears Pavilion, 26 Hakataramea Highway, on Friday, September 25 at 1.00pm, followed by a private burial. Kerry's family and friends are invited for refreshments at the Waimate Town & Country Club after the service. In lieu of flowers, donations to Cardiac Kids Club Mid and South Canterbury would be much appreciated. Special thanks to Dr Creegan, District Nurses Natalie and Ryan, and home carers Sara and Angela for Kerry's care during his illness.
