Peacefully surrounded by family at Cashmere View Rest Home, on Sunday, July 28, 2026, in his 91st year. Adored husband of Vera (deceased). Devoted father and father-in-law of James, Leanne and Samuel, Lori (deceased), Jennifer and David, Lesley and Gareth. Beloved brother of Betty, Jack (deceased), Albert (deceased) and Ronnie (deceased), and Brenda (all of Canada), and brother-in-law of Stanley (deceased), and Harold (Kentucky, USA), loved uncle to all his nieces and nephews. Much loved grandfather of David (deceased), Lindsay and Ashleigh, Kateish and Jonny; Hamiora, and Wiremu; Daniel and Kara, Georgia, Emilie, Liam, Sophie, and Ryan; Sienna, and Tessa. Loved great-grandfather of Rose, Grace, Helena, Ashton, Zoe, Riley, Carter, Jackson, Wynter, and Nova. Heartfelt thanks to all of the staff at Cashmere View for their wonderful love and support.
