On Thursday, July 23, 2026, in her 98th year, peacefully, at Glenwood Home, Timaru. Dearly loved wife of the late Leslie Donald (Don), loved mother and mother-in-law of Lynette (Palmerston North), Rodger and Linda (Kaiapoi), Heather (Timaru), and Carol and Alistair (Tauranga). Loved Gran of Nigel and Penny, Graham and Sarah, Matthew and Julez, Hamish and Patrice, and Callum and Olivia. Great-Gran of Amelie and Harry.

A service to celebrate Joy's life will be held at St Mary's Anglican Church, Timaru, on Thursday, July 30 at 1.00pm, followed by a private cremation.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the N.Z. Red Cross would be appreciated and may be left at the service. Special thanks to the wonderful staff at Glenwood Home.
