Passed away peacefully on July 20, 2026, aged 86, at Holly Lea Retirement Village, Christchurch. Loved brother of Chris Sheppard and his wife Ruth, and sister Liz Griffiths. Fondly remembered uncle of Richard, Katrina, Daniel, Edward and David, and their families. In accordance with John's wishes, a small family memorial gathering has been held.
