Loved and respected priest of the Catholic Diocese of Christchurch. Peacefully on September 19, 2026, at Nazareth House Christchurch; in his 97th year. Loved son of the late William and Margaret (dec. Grays Corner), and brother of Kay (Christchurch) and the late William, Brian, Steve, Con and Mark. A much loved and respected uncle, cousin, brother-in-law, and priest and friend to parishioners across the Christchurch Diocese in South Canterbury, Westland, Hurunui, Chatham Island and Christchurch City.

Rest in Peace

Jack will rest in the Nazareth Chapel, open for visit and prayer from 11.00am, Wednesday, September 23. Vigil Service Wednesday 4.00pm at Nazareth Chapel. Jack's Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, September 24, 10.00am, at Nazareth Chapel, 220 Brougham Street, followed by burial at Memorial Park Cemetery.
