John COTTIER

On August 11, 2026, passed away at Charles Upham Retirement Village, after a short illness, aged 92 years. Dearly loved husband of Margaret for 66 years, much loved father and father-in-law of Suzanne and Hamish Macfarlane, Hamish and Elizabeth, and Dougal and Mary, loved Grandad of Kate, and Bridget; Georgie, and Rose. Special thanks to all the staff at Access, Nurse Maude Palliative Care, and Charles Upham for the wonderful care and support given to John and family. A service to celebrate John's life will be held at Wai-mana, 92 Kippenberger Avenue, Rangiora, on Friday, August 21, at 2.30pm, followed by a private cremation.
