Passed away at home on September 20, 2026, aged 96, with daughter Kathleen and son John present. She served Jesus joyfully and lived a long, full life.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the New Zealand Church Missionary Society would be appreciated and may be made at the service. Messages may be addressed to john.owen.mitchell@gmail.com.

The memorial service for Joan will be held at Grace Vineyard Church, 150 Ferry Rd, Phillipstown, on Thursday, October 1 at 11.00am, followed by tea and coffee. Please note there is no on-site parking.
