Peacefully at Hospice South Canterbury, on Friday, July 17, 2026. Loved husband of the late Beverley. Much loved brother and brother-in-law of Elsie Page, Glennis and the late Graham Trusler. Treasured uncle of all his nieces and nephews. Heartfelt thanks to the wonderful staff at Hospice South Canterbury for their care of Ian.

A service to celebrate Ian's life will be held at Aoraki Funeral Services Chapel, 160 Mountain View Road, Timaru, on Friday, July 24 at 10.30am, followed by a private burial.

In lieu of flowers donations to Hospice South Canterbury would be much appreciated and can be left at the service. A livestream of the service is available, please email office@aoraki.kiwi.nz or call 03 6862148.
