Passed away peacefully on June 19, 2026, at Christchurch Hospital, after a short illness. Loved wife of the late Tony Bastida, cherished mother of Rob, Anna, and Rick, and mother-in-law of Sarah and Vanessa. Much loved grandmother of Troy, Samuel, and Max, much loved sister of the late June, Jack, Alan, Rita, and their families, and the much loved auntie and cousin to many. Heartfelt gratitude to the amazing team at Christchurch Hospital and Lady Dianna Isaac Retirement Village for all their care, support and treatment of Heather.

A funeral will be held at Knox Church, Bealey Ave, on Monday, June 29, at 10.30am. Livestream available: Hall & Co/live stream
