On June 17, 2026, peacefully at Rangiora. Beloved husband of the late Eleanor. Loved father and father-in-law of Vanessa and Marty Smith (Culverden). Dearly loved "Gar" of Sam and Alana, Claire, Tim and Jess, Lucy and Hugh, and Simon, and loved great-grandfather of Louie, and Freddy.
