Peacefully at Timaru Hospital on Saturday, July 25, 2026; aged 73 years. Dearly loved husband and soulmate of Lois for 53 years. Unconditionally loved dad and father-in-law of Derek and Corinna, Phillip and Monique, and Samuel. Devoted and dearly loved 'Grandbill" of Ethan, Heath, Kayla, Carys (dec), Kaelan and great-grandad of Alyssa. Loved Bill of Emily, and Alain. A loved brother and brother-in-law of Peter and Elsie, Denise, and Bob (dec), Joy and Arthur, Howard (dec) and Jeanette Shirley, and Gene (dec). Loved by all his nieces and nephews.

A Service to celebrate Bill's life will be held at Aoraki Funeral Services Chapel, 160 Mountain View Road, Timaru on Monday, August 3 at 10.00am.

In lieu of flowers, donations to St John Ambulance would be much appreciated and can be left at the service. A livestream of the service is available, please email office@aoraki.kiwi.nz or call 03 6862148.
