Garth RASMUSSEN

Loving husband of the late Greta Rasmussen, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, aged 89, with his son Jon by his side. Garth lived a full life and was a devoted husband, father, grandad, brother, uncle, and friend. A much-loved father of Jon, father-in-law of Miriam, and cherished grandad of Keir, Hazel, Thorin and Lukas. Known for his kindness, sense of humour and talent for fixing anything, he will be deeply missed. Special thanks to the staff at Ryman Ngaio Marsh Retirement Village for their care and support over the past year.

A service to celebrate Garth's life will be held at Canterbury Chapel, cnr of Linwood Avenue and Keighleys Road, Linwood, on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at 10.00am.
