Peacefully at Elmslie House, Wanaka, on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, aged 84 years. Dearly loved husband of Trish O'Neill (Cromwell), and the late Lorraine. Loved Dad of Tanya Black, and Charlene McIntosh, father-in-law of Trevor, and John, adored Grandad of Harry, Ruby; Libby, and Jack, great-Grandad of Freddy, Bryce and Aria; Hudson, Reuben; and Reid, respected Fred to the Purdue and O'Neill families. Special thanks to all the Elmslie staff for the respect and care of Fred and his family. Family and friends are invited to gather at The Gate Conference Centre, 6 Barry Ave, Cromwell, on Monday, August 10, at 11.30am, following a private interment to share stories and reminisce.
