Enid HARDIE

On June 23, 2026, passed away in Christchurch, in her 100th year. Wife of the late Norman, mother and mother-in-law of Sarah Jane Hardie and Andrew Turton, Ruth and Richard Wells, grandmother of Henry Wells and Joanna Pope-Wells, Tamar Wells, Roslyn Wells and Craig Dalgliesh; and David John Hardie Turton, great-grandmother of Erica. Daughter of the late Herbert and Veronica Hurst, sister of the late John, and Robin Hurst, aunt of all her nieces and nephews. Special thanks to all the staff at Rose Court, Nurse Maude, and Ward 14 at Christchurch Hospital. A private cremation has been held.

A memorial service will be held at the Sumner Surf Lifesaving Club, 301 Main Road, Sumner, on August 15, at 2.00pm.
