Passed away peacefully at Margaret Wilson Home on August 15, 2026, aged 88. Much loved wife of Ben Gray (dec) and Rex Smith (dec). Dearly loved mother of Lorraine (dec), Nigel, Judith and partner Neil. Special Granma to Ronin and Shanelle. Loved 'Maisypops' to her twin brother Trevor, also sister and (sister-in-law) to Joe (dec) and (Margaret), Neville (dec) and (Pepe), Taura Curnow, (Helen) and (the Smith family). Loved Auntie and friend to many. Thanks to the staff at Wallingford Home and Margaret Wilson Hospital section for all the love, care and support shown to mother over the last few years, and the PSSC carers who cared for mother at home.

A service for May will be held at St Joseph's Hall, 18 Denmark Street, Temuka, on Friday, August 21, at 11.00am, followed by an interment at Temuka Cemetery.
