Died peacefully at home on Friday, September 18, 2026, aged 71. Loved husband of the late Shani. Loved father and father-in-law of Shale, and Melodie and Jarrod Bool. Adored grandad of Sophie, Jazmin, and Lucy. A loved brother, uncle and friend.

A funeral service for Doug will be held at Betts Funeral Services, on Thursday, September 24 at 1.00pm, followed by a burial at the Timaru Cemetery.
