Died peacefully in Christchurch on June 23, 2026, aged 87 years. Loved mother of Rachel and Pip Depree; mother-in-law of Richard and James; grandmother to Emma and Nina; friend of Josh and Jake; loved sister, sister-in-law and aunt of Anne and Rodger, David and Heather, Liz and Robin; Margaret and Jerry, and all her nieces and nephews. Wonderful friend and teaching colleague to so many. According to Clare's wishes, a private cremation has taken place. A 'not a funeral' celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
