The family are sad to announce the passing of Chris, unexpectedly at home on Sunday, August 30, 2026. Cherished husband of Pauline and much loved son of the late Bert and Margaret Thomas. Loved brother of Maureen, Wayne (dec), Tony, Kathy, Rose, Trish, Paul, and best mate of Buddy. A loved uncle, cousin and friend. The family wish to acknowledge the love, care and support extended to Chris and them by Ranui House in Christchurch.

A celebration of Chris' life will be held at Aoraki Funeral Services Chapel, 11 John Street, Waimate on Friday, September 4 at 2pm.
