JP (Retired). Peacefully at home on September 13, 2026, in Rangiora, aged 76 years.

Now at peace after a long and courageous battle. Dearly loved wife of Allan for 57 years. Much loved Mum of Jane and partner Brendan (Christchurch), and Stephen and partner Amanda (Lake Tekapo), and a loving Nana Mares of Paige, Chloe, James, Hudson, Harry, Fletcher, and Amelia. A very special thank you to the many specialists, doctors, nurses, and others who have cared for and who have supported Mary during the many years that she has been unwell.
