On August 8, 2026, peacefully at Leslie Groves Hospital, Dunedin; aged 87 years. Dearly loved daughter of Peter (dec) and Robina (Robbie) (dec) Lyders, much loved sister and sister-in-law of Diane and David Reid (Canada), and Marian (dec) and Basil Steele (Tasman), loved aunt of Elliot, Stephanie, and Joanna Pahl, loved cousin of the wider Whyte, Lyders, Rawlinson, and Fitzpatrick families.

A celebration of Carole's life will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, 523 Andersons Bay Road, Dunedin, at 11am on Friday, August 14, followed by private cremation.
