Passed away peacefully on July 14, 2026. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Carl, much-loved husband of Norma, and dearly loved husband of the late Joan. Cherished father of the late Rodney Kelland and of Janelle Butcher and Rachel Jessop; loved father-in-law of Tim and Craig. Treasured Grandad of Caleb and Sinead, Jess and Aram, Sam and Jasmine, Sarah and Reagan, Mike, Brad and Faith, Carla and Hamish, Grace, and Jimmy; and a much-loved Great-Grandad.

A celebration of Carl's life will be held at Bryndwr Chapel, 179 Idris Road, Christchurch, on Monday, July 20, 2026 at 11.00am.
