Passed away suddenly at home on July 4, 2026, aged 82 years. Dearly loved and treasured husband and soulmate of Heather (formerly Isherwood, nee Shortt). Cherished father and father-in-law of Mark and Nicky, and loving father of Neal (deceased) and Stuart (deceased). Dearly loved stepfather of Nicky, Jody and Kerry, and respected father-in-law of Reuben Hiku and Mem Hasan. Adored Grandad of his granddaughters, Maddy Mill and Kiralee Johnston, and loved by Maddy's husband, Callum. Proud Great-Grandad of Jasper Mill. Much loved step-grandad of Caleb and Kaiya Hiku, and Dylan Hasan.

Bruce will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all his family and friends.

A service to celebrate Bruce's life will be held at Classic Flyers, 9 Jean Batten Drive, Mount Maunganui on Monday, July 13 at 2.30pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to St John Ambulance at stjohn.org.nz. Livestream may be viewed and tributes left at legacyfunerals.co.nz.
