Barrie McMILLAN

Passed away peacefully on July 8, 2026 at Christchurch Hospital. Dearly loved husband and best friend of Jocelyn for 64 years. Much loved father and father-in-law of Jillian and Kerry Cowan (Brisbane), Craig and Gayleen. Adored Poppy of Stacey and Kirby Nankivell (Brisbane), Ashleigh and Mitchell Roll (Brisbane), Lewis and Sammie, Taylor and Chase (Brisbane). Treasured Great-Poppy of Ernest Nankivell and Lincoln McMillan. Brother and brother-in-law of Margaret and Brian Blackburn (deceased), Kelvin and June, Ian and Aileen (both deceased), Glenys and Warren Bellaney. Brother-in-law of David and Wendy Cooper.

Forever loved and remembered by all lucky enough to have been part of Barrie's life.

Barrie's family would like to take this opportunity to thank Ward 17 staff at Christchurch Hospital for the kindness and care provided over the past few weeks. In accordance with Barrie's wishes, a private cremation has been held. Messages can be sent to 24 Magnate Drive, Kaiapoi 7063.
