Passed peacefully on July 7, 2026, aged 96 years. Loved wife of the late Philip. Dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of John and Sandra, David and Anna, and the late Wendy. Devoted grandmother to Noah, Zara, Lauren and Matthew. A much loved friend to many. Special thanks to the staff at Burlington Village and Alpine View for their care and support over many years.

A celebration of Baroona's life will be held at John Rhind Chapel, entry from London and Whitmore Streets, Richmond, Christchurch, on Wednesday, July 15, 2026 at 1.00pm, followed by a private cremation. Livestream of the service will be available on www.johnrhind.co.nz/upcoming-funerals.
