Born March 17, 1941, died July 8, 2026, in Christchurch, after a brief illness, aged 85 years. Originally from Stony Bay, Banks Peninsula. Beloved father of Felicity, Rose (Caroline), and Annabel. Loved father-in-law of Peter, and Adam. Loved grandfather of David, Michael, Emma, Eelke, and Bodhi. Dear eldest brother of Pip, Humphrey, Mark, and Kate. Dearly loved uncle and great-uncle of an extended family and a wonderful friend to many. Thanks to the staff of the Nurse Maude Care Home who provided such valued care and attention in his last days.
