Blockley, William Raymond (Bill). Bill died peacefully on 1 October 2026 at Ryman Keith Park Hospital, aged 79 after living with dementia. Cherished husband of Linda for 60 years, much-loved father of Marilyn, Tess, and Jason and father-in-law of Darren, and Louise. A very special grandfather of Ryan and Reane, Bayley and Byron, Georgia and Raniera, Kieran, Amelia, Maia and Kaiel, Theo and great-grandfather of Clay. Grateful thanks to the outstanding staff at Keith Park Hospital for their love and care during Bill's last year.

A private cremation will be held and a celebration of life will be at a later date. A retired electrician, Bill was fiercely loyal, intelligent, and loved. He was a keen sailor with a wonderfully wicked sense of humour and a love of fudge and acronyms. T.T.F.N, D.O.D.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Dementia Auckland.
