BIRCH, William Francis (Sir William). Passed away peacefully in the presence of his family, on Friday 17th July 2026, aged 92 years, at home, after a long illness. Loving husband of the late Rosa. Loved brother of Gaye. Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Roanne and Ed, Kevin and Liz, Greg and Lynn, and Derek and Sarah. Cherished Poppa of Surya, Sarah and Kelly, Alice, Connie and Trent, Craig and Rachel, Nicola, Charlie, George, Ruby, and Angus. Great Grandfather to Lily and Freya, Max, Cleo, Sylvie, Grace, Archie, and Neve. Loved by all and will be missed forever. In memory of Bill, donations may be made to Franklin Community Hospice. A private family service will be held for Bill on Thursday, followed on Friday 24 July at 11.00 by a public service at the Pukekohe Indian Hall, Ward Street, Pukekohe.
