PERSON, Wendy Margaret Person (nee Walker). It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Wendy Margaret Person (nee Walker) on August 26, 2026, aged 84 years. Wendy was the beloved and devoted wife of the late Paul Person. She was a deeply cherished mother to Linda and Carol, mother-in-law to Simon, and a wonderfully proud, loving Grandma to her four grandsons: Matteo, Antonio, Jack, and Sam. Dearly loved sister of Peter and Barrie, sister-in-law of Clare and Denise, and a treasured friend to many whose lives she touched so deeply over the years.

Memorial Service Details.

A celebration of Wendy's life will be held at 1:30pm on Monday, August 31, 2026, in the Magdalinos Room at the Havelock North Function Centre, 30 Te Mata Road, Havelock North. Tributes and Donations In lieu of flowers, donations to Presbyterian Support East Coast in appreciation of their Enliven Positive Ageing services would be warmly appreciated.
