Warwick PETERSON

PETERSON, Warwick Cedric. Passed away peacefully at Bupa Glenburn on 6 August 2026. Much loved husband of Maree, special Dad of Anna and Alex. Son of the late Helga and Noel Peterson of Rotorua and much-loved brother of Vern Peterson (deceased), sisters Stephanie McCulloch, Tanya Peterson and sister-in-law Jackie. Sport mad, funny uncle to many nephews and nieces. Loved also by their partners and families. Warwick gave freely of his time to communities, schools and sports clubs both here and in Australia. His encouragement and dedication to the development of young people in many sports: cricket, football, water-wise, golf and sailing was endless. An opportunity for friends and family to gather and spend time together will take place at a Celebration of Life at a later date.
