Chalmers, Walter Sinclair (Wally). 18 June 1934 - 23 September 2026. Died peacefully at home in Sandbank Argyll overlooking the Holy Loch in Scotland with his wife Evy by his side. He was the father of Fiona (Airdrie) and Kirsty (Melbourne), grandfather of 5 and GGF of 2. Walter was the eldest son of Jock and Elma, brother of Bev (May), Ian and Jennifer. He was a dedicated primary school teacher who trained at Ardmore Teachers College then taught in Hamilton (West), Napier, Frankton, Avondale, Cooma Aussie, London, Alloa, Whitikahu, Tauhei, Naike, Campbell Town and finally as the Headmaster for many years at Kirn School Dunoon. After Sports, Music was a big part of his life both at school and home. Until recently he played the clarinet and baritone sax in his local Dunoon orchestra. So farewell Walter, we will miss you.
