Vera BARTLETT

BARTLETT, Vera. Passed away peacefully on Wednesday 19 August 2026, at Maygrove Village Hospital, in her 91st year. Youngest daughter of the late Frank and Thelma Bartlett of "Bankside" farm, Silverdale. Youngest sister of the late Robert (Bob), Ken, and Jean (Smith). Vera was born on the family farm in 1935 and was a lifelong resident of Silverdale, Orewa and Hibiscus Coast. She was the last generation of the Bartlett / Blake family to own and farm land at "Bankside" since 1860.Land that now forms part of the Millwater suburb. Beloved aunt of Bruce, Rosemary, Paul, Philip, and Glenys. Great aunt of Michelle and Jeff, Nikita, and Sonia, Rebecca, Gregory and Bradley. Great-great aunt of Olivia, Stella and Oscar, Johnny and Fleur, Elara and Remy, Casper and Bowie. The family wishes to extend special thanks to the staff at Maygrove Village for their loving care of Vera.
