EDMONDS, Shadow Atarangi. Aged 97 passed peacefully in Craigweil House Parakai in Auckland on Sunday 13th of September 2026. Shadow the loved Wife to the late Joe Edmonds. Cherished Mum to Joey, Alan, Victor and Marion. Respected by daughter-in-laws Kim, Denise, Trish, Yvonne and respected son-in-law Ray. An adored Nana to her grand, great, and great-great grandchildren. Shadow was a fiercely independent and dedicated Wife and Mum, she paired a strict guidance with a heart full of endless love and care. Shadow's ashes will be buried with Joe and her plaque placed at Waikare Cemetery on May 2nd 2027, Shadow's 98th Birthday. More details will be shared in the Herald's memorial section before we gather for Shadow's service.
