TRUBUHOVICH, Dr Ronald Valentine ONZM, MD. Born 6 March 1929. Passed away peacefully on 16 July 2026, surrounded by family. Beloved and loving husband of Elizabeth, and father of Eve and Joseph, Matthew and Charlotte, and May and John; grandfather to Antony, Anna, Nikolai, Jordan, Rosa, James and Luke, and partners, and great-grandfather of 7. Eldest son of Violet and Volentin; treasured brother to Desmond and Betty, Valmai and John, Allen and Hilary, and George. Dear uncle to Desmond and Valmai's children. Intensive care specialist and major pioneer of critical care medicine in Aotearoa New Zealand. Author, historian, stamp and classical music enthusiast, lifelong scholar and gentleman. A private cremation has been held.

A memorial service to celebrate Ron's life will be held on Saturday 26 September 2026, 2pm at St Peter's College Hall.
