HALES, Ronald Alfred. RNZAF No. E77859 F/Sgt Armourer. Aged 88 years, Ron passed peacefully on 28th July 2026 with long term partner Margaret Phillips by his side. Loved father of Kevin and Steven. Ron enjoyed his life, both when in the Air Force and in Civvy Street, and he will be sadly missed by family, neighbours, and friends.

A service to celebrate his life will be held at Central Park Chapel, Davis Funerals, 150 Central Park Drive on Wednesday 5th August at 1.30pm. All welcome, especially any former Armourers who knew Ron, and may have a story to share.
