Carter, Roderick Edward. 14 July 1942 - 13 August 2026. Roderick passed away suddenly at Waitākere Hospital. Thank you to the team at Waitākere for their care, compassion and support. Much loved husband of the late Mary. Father of Gregory, Katrina and Theresa. Grandpa of Ryan, Paige, Kynan, Kona and Kyla. Father-in-law of Scott, Hiro and Yuko. Son of Edward and Joyce, brother of Bruce and the late Wayne. Uncle of Rochelle, Antoinette, Sarah, Adrian, Nicholas and Matthew. Brother-in-law of Heather, Rosalie and the late Margaret.

A celebration of Roderick's life will be held at Morrisons Funerals, 220 Universal Drive on Saturday 22nd August 2026 at 10am. A viewing will be held at 9.30am at Morrisons on the same day for those who wish to attend.
