McCARTHNY, Robert Thorley (Bob). 31 July 1939 - 1 July 2026 Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family. A much loved husband to Lynn for 59 years. Loved Dad and father-in-law to Lynda, Joel and Rochelle, and Dean and Alana. A special Poppa and Gramps to Ben, Jessie, Mattie, Alice, Jaimee, Molly and Cameron. Bob will be laying in state at his home in Ahipara from midday Thursday 2nd July 2026 until his funeral service.

A service to celebrate Bob's life will be held at Kaitaia Union Parish (Hope Christian Centre), 234 Commerce Street, Kaitaia 0410, on Monday 6th July 2026 at 11:00am, followed by interment at Kaitaia Cemetery.
