MOORS, Richard John. Passed away peacefully at Red Beach Hospice, aged 73, surrounded by his loving family, after a courageous two-and-a-half-year journey with motor neurone disease. Beloved husband of Adair. Cherished father of Ben, Matt, and Richard, and much-loved father-in-law to Michael, Sarah, and Grace. Treasured Grandad to his beloved grandchildren. Richard will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, and will remain forever in our hearts.

A service will be held at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 180 Centreway Road, Orewa, on Tuesday 14 July 2026, at 1pm; followed by further celebration of Richard's life at The Silverdale Rugby Club, 6 Hibiscus Coast Highway at 2.30pm.
