SMIT, Patricia Ann (Pat). Aged 87years On Monday 28th September 2026. Peacefully after a short illness in Whangarei Base Hospital. Much loved Mother to Antony and Chris, Mother-in-law to Rhiannon and Sarah. Cherished Oma of Henry, Nana to Bea, Toby and Ed. Favourite dog-sitter for Riley. In accordance with Pat's wishes a private cremation service will be held. We would like to express our sincere gratitude for the amazing help she received in hospital. We cannot thank the HCAs, Nurses and Doctors of the Emergency Department then on Wards 1 and 14 enough for their compassionate care.
