GILES, Olive Elizabeth Mayo. Passed peacefully in Gisborne, on Wednesday 09 September 2026, aged 98. Olive was a devoted mother to the late Kirsten, late Christian, Nelson and Elsbeth, grandmother to Benjamin and Elias Giles, Sophie and Lilly- Moana Steinacker and wonderful friend to her extended family and friends. Ollie was renowned for her carefree and joyous personality, love of poetry, singingand genuine love of life. We salute a legend and wish her a wonderful journey in the hereafter.

A celebration of her life will be held on Monday 14th September at Tamarau Community Church at 10.00am , followed by burial at Taruheru Cemetery.
