Merle WRATHALL

WRATHALL, Merle Ann (nee Hetherington). Passed away peacefully on 5th July 2026. Beloved wife of James Leonard Noel Wrathall II. Dearly loved Mum of James, Lecia, David, Deslea, Tirzah, John, Carol and Samara. Dearly loved grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. You had a gift for making little become plenty. A meal stretched to feed another, a chair found for one more at the table. You welcomed everyone with an open heart, making everyone feel they belonged, and left our lives richer for having known you. We'll miss the sparkle in your eyes, your generous spirit, and your wonderfully sharp wit.

A service will be held at the chapel of Morris & Morris Funerals, 17 Western Hills Drive, Whau Valley, Whangarei, on Thursday 9th July 2026 at 10:30am, followed by a private cremation.
